Nashville-based label Big Loud, home to Morgan Wallen, has reportedly sold a minority stake in the country superstar’s master recordings to Chord Music Partners for over $200 million. The deal is for a minority holding in Wallen’s first three studio albums, which includes his blockbuster 2023 double album, One Thing at a Time. The deal covers a total of about 90 songs, and the extravagant cost is a testimony to Wallen’s immense popularity within the music industry. A Big Loud spokesperson said the deal was “part of a strategic investment to expand the label’s global footprint and fuel long-term artist development.” The announcement of the deal comes ahead of the highly-anticipated release of Wallen’s upcoming 37-song album, I’m The Problem, on May 16, which features collaborations with special guest artists like Tate McRae, Hardy, Post Malone, Ernest, and Eric Church.
